www.buy-stationery.co.uk is owned and operated by Supply My Office Limited. All prices exclude VAT unless clearly shown as including vat (inc vat) or excluding vat (ex vat)
By using Supply My Office Ltd's online ordering site (www.buy-stationery.co.uk) you agree to the terms and conditions below.
Shipping
Delivery is FREE for orders valued at or above £62.50 (ex vat) to addresses in mainland United Kingdom. However a charge of £7.50 (ex vat) is made for orders valued below £25.00 (ex vat) and a charge of £4.99 (ex vat) for orders between £25.00 (ex vat) and £62.50 (ex vat).
Addresses outside of mainland United Kingdom or in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland are charged delivery at a special rate. Northern Ireland, Shetland Islands and the Hebrides will be charged £9.99 (ex vat), The Channel Islands will be charged £21.50 (no vat), The Isle of Man will be charged £21.50 (ex vat), The Highlands & Islands of Scotland and the Scilly Islands will be charged £7.70 (ex vat).
Occasionally a very heavy item will require a delivery surcharge to be made (for example large fire safes and furniture). If this is the case, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to cancel your order
if you do not wish to pay this additional charge.
If your order originally qualified for free delivery but is subsequently reduced below £62.50 (ex vat) because of the return for credit of an unwanted product from the order or the cancellation of an item remaining on backorder, then your order no longer qualifies for free delivery and the standard delivery charge according to destination and order value may, at our discretion, become due.
We do not deliver to any country other than the United Kingdom.
Delivery is made to the specified address only and will require a signature. Delivery cannot be made to any other location. If no one is available to sign for the delivery, a card will be left and the parcel will be returned
to the carrier's depot. The card will provide instruction on how to retrieve your parcel. A second delivery attempt may be made at the carrier's discretion but otherwise the delivery will have to be collected from their depot and
will become your responsibility to collect it.
When signing for the delivery you must count and match the number of parcels, boxes, packages and envelopes being delivered to the consignment count specified on the delivery note. You should not sign if there is a discrepancy,
instead notify us immediately. We cannot be held liable for a subsequent lost or missing parcel after you have signed for it.
References to Next Day delivery means Next Working Day delivery that is Monday to Friday inclusive.
Damaged or faulty products
Goods arriving damaged or faulty will be collected free of charge for replacement or refund but you must contact us within 3 working days in writing by email (help at supplymyoffice dot co dot uk) or via our "contact us" page with full
details of the damage or fault. Evidence or a report of the fault or damage may be required.
Faults discovered after 3 working days will be handled subject to the manufacturer's guarantee which is usually, but not limited to, between 3 months and 1 year - contact us by email (help at supplymyoffice dot co dot uk) or via
our "contact us" page with full details of the fault and we will advise the course of action to get the item repaired or if applicable, replaced or refunded.
Damages discovered after 3 working days can be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion and subject to the manufacturer's, wholesaler's or shipping agent's terms for damaged goods/deliveries - please contact us by email
(help at supplymyoffice dot co dot uk) or via our "contact us" page with full details of the damage and we will advise the correct course of action to take. It is your responsibility to carefully check your order for damages and
shortfalls the moment it arrives and not later than 3 days.
Unwanted products
Food and drink products cannot be returned.
Copyrighted products like software, music, movies, CDs, DVDs and video products cannot be returned if they have been opened or their seal has been broken or tampered with.
Consumables products (for example but not limited to inkjet, ribbons, toner cartridges) cannot be returned if they have been opened or their outer seal has been broken or tampered with.
Dated or made to order products such as diaries, calendars, events, clothing and furniture cannot be returned.
Unwanted products can be returned for credit provided they pass the food and drink, copyrighted, consumables, dated and made to order criteria detailed above and you contact us in writing by email (help at supplymyoffice dot co dot uk) or via our "contact us" form
within 7 working days of the goods being delivered
to your address and you return the product at your cost to the address we specify (or ask us to collect from you) and the product is unmarked, undamaged, unused and in a resaleable "as new" condition and includes all
original packaging and accessories and instruction manuals. We will deduct from your refund the cost of the next working day delivery service used to originally ship the product to you, and we may deduct from your refund 20% of the value of the product as a handling/restocking fee.
If we arrange a collection of the unwanted product then we will deduct from your refund the cost of the collection, which is currently £7.70 (ex vat).
We are unable to accept any returned product or refund a purchase unless it has been arranged and agreed in advance with us.
Products and Prices
All orders are subject to the ordered item(s) being available. If any item should not be available then Supply My Office Ltd may, with the agreement of the customer, substitute an item that incorporates the facilities of the ordered item,
and Supply My Office Ltd may vary the price therefore. Delivery dates mentioned in any quotation are approximate only, and not of any contractual effect.
Supply My Office Ltd reserves the right to alter design and specification of any item shown herein without prior notification being given.
Any product image shown is for illustrative purposes only and does not guarantee the exact colour, shape, size or material or build quality of the item.
The prices charged and against which payment must be made will be those prices ruling at the date of despatch of goods. All prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax, which is charged in accordance with prevailing legislation.
If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event that you order an item and the price published on the site is incorrect for any reason,
we will contact you to let you know the correct price and ask you whether you still wish us to fulfil your order at this price. We shall be under no obligation to fulfill an order for a product which was advertised at an incorrect price.
We shall give you the option of confirming the order at the correct price or if you so choose, to cancel the order altogether. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods in the circumstances described in this clause,
we shall refund the full amount in accordance with these Terms in the same manner as you paid.
Fraud
We take any attempt of fraud very seriously and we will fully investigate details of a credit card transaction if we suspect that a fraudulent purchase is taking place. We will notify the relevant authorities of the fraud,
including details of the recipient of the order.
We reserve the right to void/cancel a credit card transaction and to terminate its associated order if a fraudulent transaction is suspected, and we are under no obligation to inform the purchaser of said cancellation when
we suspect attempted fraud is occurring.
General
We will do our utmost to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the website
may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction

Why recycle?
Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste.
Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination - harming wildlife and also human health.
We can help
We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items.
When you buy a new electrical item from us you can return your old electrical item to us, at your cost, where we will recycle the item. The item being returned must be like for like to the item being purchased. Contact us by email or phone to arrange your return of your unwanted electrical item. We keep records of all purchases from us for a minimum period of 4 years.
To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
