Terms and conditions of sale

By using Solution Centre Ltd's online ordering site (www.buy-stationery.co.uk) you agree to the terms and conditions below.

Shipping

Delivery is FREE for orders valued at or above £75.00 to addresses in mainland United Kingdom. However a charge of £4.99 (inc Vat) £4.25 (excl vat) is made for orders valued below £75.00.

Addresses outside of mainland United Kingdom or in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland are charged delivery at a special rate. Northern Ireland, Shetland Islands and the Hebrides will be charged £17.62 (inc Vat) £15.00 (excl vat), The Channel Islands will be charged £21.50 (Vat free), The Isle of Man will be charged £25.26 (inc Vat) £21.50 (excl vat), The Highlands & Islands of Scotland and the Scilly Islands will be charged £7.64 (inc Vat) £6.50 (excl vat).

Occasionally a very heavy item will require a delivery surcharge to be made (for example large firesafes). If this is the case, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to cancel your order if you do not wish to pay this additional charge.

We do not deliver to any country other than the United Kingdom.

Delivery is made to the specified address only and will require a signature. Delivery cannot be made to any other location. If no one is available to sign for the delivery, a card will be left and the parcel will be returned to the carrier's depot. The card will provide instruction on how to retrieve your parcel. A second delivery attempt may be made at the carrier's discretion but otherwise the delivery will have to be collected from their depot and will become your responsibility to collect it.

When signing for the delivery you must count and match the number of parcels, boxes, packages and envelopes being delivered to the consignment count specified on the delivery note. You should not sign if there is a discrepancy, instead notify us immediately. We cannot be held liable for a subsequent lost or missing parcel after you have signed for it.

Damages and Returns

Goods arriving damaged or faulty will be collected free of charge for replacement or refund, but you must contact us with full details of the problem within 3 working days of receipt of the goods.

Most unwanted items can be returned for a refund but you must contact us with full details within 7 days of receipt of the order. You must send the items back, at your cost, to the address we specify using the original packaging. The unwanted items must arrive undamaged and in the case of software, CDs, DVDs & Videos, unopened. Unwanted food and drink items cannot be returned for health & safety reasons. Only the value of the items being returned can be refunded - the cost of the original delivery will be deducted from your refund - that is if the order was shipped to you free of charge, then we shall deduct £4.99 (inc Vat) £4.25 (excl vat) from your refund. If your order originally included payment for shipping then that shipping payment value will not be refunded.

Items breaking or failing within their warranty period can be sorted out subject to the manufacturer's warranty periods and procedures. Contact us with full details of your original order and we can advise on the best course of action according to your requirements.

Products and Prices

All orders are subject to the ordered item(s) being available. If any item should not be available then Solution Centre Ltd may, with the agreement of the customer, substitute an item that incorporates the facilities of the ordered item, and Solution Centre Ltd may vary the price therefore. Delivery dates mentioned in any quotation are approximate only, and not of any contractual effect.

Solution Centre Ltd reserves the right to alter design and specification of any item shown herein without prior notification being given.

Any product image shown is for illustrative purposes only.

The prices charged and against which payment must be made will be those prices ruling at the date of despatch of goods. All prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax, which is charged in accordance with prevailing legislation.

If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event that you order an item and the price published on the site is incorrect for any reason, we will contact you to let you know the correct price and ask you whether you still wish us to fulfil your order at this price. We shall be under no obligation to fulfill an order for a product which was advertised at an incorrect price. We shall give you the option of confirming the order at the correct price or if you so choose, to cancel the order altogether. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods in the circumstances described in this clause, we shall refund the full amount in accordance with these Terms in the same manner as you paid.

Fraud

We take any attempt of fraud very seriously and we will fully investigate details of a credit card transaction if we suspect that a fraudulent purchase is taking place. We will notify the relevant authorities of the fraud, including details of the recipient of the order.

We reserve the right to void/cancel a credit card transaction and to terminate its associated order.

General

We will do our utmost to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction

Every effort has been made to ensure that information in this document is correct but Solution Centre Ltd does not accept the liability for any error or omission. This document will form part of any contract save insofar as may be expressly agreed.
